MW Design's motto is "COME HOME TO LIFE." We believe that our environment affects how we feel each day and that the quality of our lives is positively influenced by good design. Home is where happiness begins, where we unwind and revive ourselves. Home is still our best investment for our pocket books, as well as our souls.
 
Melanie entered the design business through the encouragement of friends and family when they recognized her passion for all things to do with the home and environment. She began working as a designer in Los Angeles while attending UCLA's Interior Design Program. "I love every aspect of the business. It is an  opportunity to see a job through from the inception to the final result which is not something many professions offer. Plus, the added benefit of knowing that you have made someone's life better. I am passionate about my work and it shows."

Melanie has lived in the West, Midlands, North and now South, having settled in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she started her business in 1997. MW Design specializes in residential and commercial design.

Vicky has worked in the Triangle area with MW Designs for nine years. She was born in England, lived in Germany and through her many travels throughout Europe she brings an international influence of clean, functional design that compliments modern American life.

She is very interested in Green design and is learning first hand by building her own Green Home just outside Chapel Hill. She believes in using local products and craftsmen whenever possible while keeping good design a focus.
